How This Help Centre Handles Your Data
Last updated · By Y1.com Help Centre Editorial Team
What this policy covers
This policy applies to the website at y1com.pages.dev, called “the help centre”, “we” or “us” here, and to messages you send to our Telegram account. It is published by the Y1.com Help Centre Editorial Team.
It does not cover the Y1.com app. We are not the app’s operator, and anything you give the app, from your mobile number to payment and KYC details, is handled under the operator’s own policy.
Things we never ask you for
The help centre has no sign-up, login, comment box, newsletter or contact form. You can read every page without telling us your name, mobile number, email or any payment detail, and we have no way to collect them through the site.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare’s network. To deliver pages and keep them available, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the address requested, the referring page and the time of the request.
Cloudflare also uses this data for security, for example filtering automated traffic and blocking attacks, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie for that purpose. We look only at summary traffic and error reports, not at individual visitors. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy explains how it handles and keeps this data.
Analytics with Google Analytics 4
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how its guides are used. The Google tag loads with each page in the background, so it does not hold up the content you came for.
The tag sets first-party cookies with a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted, and reports things like pages viewed, approximate location at city or country level, device type, how you arrived and whether download or Telegram buttons were tapped.
We use these reports in aggregate to see which guides help and which confuse people. We do not try to identify individuals from them or combine them with other data.
To avoid analytics cookies, block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings, use a private window, or use a content blocker. Every page works without them.
Sponsored download links
Download buttons are sponsored links that send you to a third-party link service and then to the app’s download source. The APK is not hosted on this site.
When you tap one, you leave the help centre. The link service may log that click so the referral can be credited, and from then on the download, installation, registration, OTP, KYC and payments are handled by those third parties. Their privacy terms apply, not ours, so read them before sharing personal details in the app.
Telegram conversations
Writing to us on Telegram means the conversation travels through Telegram, under Telegram’s own privacy policy. We can see your display name and username, plus anything you decide to share, such as a phone model or a screenshot.
We use those messages only to answer you or to correct a guide. We do not add you to lists, sell your details or message you about offers. Cover your balance, mobile number and uid in screenshots. Passwords, OTPs and UPI PINs should never go into a chat with anyone, us included.
How long we keep information
- Hosting and security logs are kept by Cloudflare for the periods its policies set.
- If analytics is enabled, reports are kept according to the retention setting of the analytics property, and we do not export visitor-level records.
- Telegram chats are deleted from our side once your question is resolved and nothing further is needed, or earlier if you ask.
Your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you rights over personal data processed about you. Given how little we hold, most requests take one message.
- Access: ask what personal data of yours we have and why.
- Correction and completion: ask us to fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure: have your data removed, for example our chat history with you.
- Withdrawing consent: tell us to stop using data you shared, as easily as you gave it.
- Nomination: name someone to exercise these rights for you if you cannot.
- Grievance redressal: complain about how we handled your data and get a response.
Send your request or grievance to us on Telegram and name the right you want to use. Telegram is our grievance channel. If our response does not settle the matter, you may take the complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This help centre is intended only for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly process data about anyone younger. If you think a minor has messaged us, let us know and we will delete that chat.
Updates to this policy
We will revise this policy when we change hosting or analytics tools, or when the law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows the current version. Our terms of use also apply when you use the site.
